Take a nostalgic (albeit immobile) ride down PCH with author Carina Monica Montoya during a free lecture at the Los Angeles Central Library. Montoya, author of the new book Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles County, will illustrate a historical picture of the 1,700-mile thoroughfare, 75 miles of which we Angelenos have come to appreciate as the most dramatic and breathtaking drive in the country. The lecture will cruise through the evolution and significance of our beloved PCH, looking at vintage images from the California Department of Transportation, as well as new photos by LA photographer John Moss. Montoya's book will be available for purchase at the lecture, which is free and open to the public.
