Game+Hack

Cobble together the next great mobile addiction over three days at Burbank's Game+Hack. Students, teachers, designers and all sorts of interested techies can compete in this YMCA benefit for the chance to win a private flight and getaway to the Bay Area—plus of the glory of being crowned the winner. Each project has to respond to the rather open-ended theme of promoting any of the YMCA’s focus areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Unless you're particularly interested in furious typing, you'll want to show up for the opening presentation and demos on Friday as well as the judging at the end of Sunday. And even if you have no interested in tech at all, consider this your invitation to enter the Nickelodeon Animation Studio (231 W Olive Ave), where it all goes down.
