Joint Seafood DTLA Summer Block Party

Liwei Liao’s specialty fish market, Joint Seafood, recently opened a DTLA location to join its Sherman Oaks sibling—and the new flagship is the largest dry-aging fish facility in the world. This weekend, Joint is inviting some friends over for a free block party, complete with music and, of course, lots of great food and drinks, with eateries including Fuegos, Frank ‘n’ Frank’s, Heng Heng Chicken Rice and the Joint’s Uoichiba Handroll Bar joining in the fun. For dessert, Moom Maam will be serving its Thai gelato. And how’s this for a party favor: If you guess the weight of a full Ōra King salmon correctly, you can take the fish home—over a $300 value.
