LA Live is an entertainment venue located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Adjacent to Staples Center, it is the home of Nokia Theatre, Regal Cinemas and various bars, hotels and restaurants such as the towering JW Marriott, WP24 and SBE's swanky Katsuya—jam-packed almost every night of the week (especially pre-Lakers, Clippers and Kings games) with tourists and locals alike.

I think LA Live is an awesome draw for downtown LA. There is so much to do in and around the area that it really makes going to DTLA a fun experience. Catch a Sporting event, concert, happy hour or a delicious meal. During the winter months there is an ice skating rink and there's always new reasons to go popping up throughout the year.
It could get a whole lot worse than LA Live, right? As far as touristy entertainment complexes go, LA Live is clean, transit accessible and overall an alright spot to wander around. Parking can be pretty pricey, though.
Great place for fine dining, movies or a great hangout spot before or after an event at the Staples Center. If you plan to spend a few hours here, I recommend reserving a parking spot in advance to guarantee hassle free parking. http://www.parkme.com/los-angeles-parking/la-live
It's a great place to take a stroll, while eating ice cream or after finishing dinner in any of several superb restaurants. The restaurants are excellent, especially Rock N Fish, if you have a huge appetite. You might see a show filming, as my family did when a dance mob was being taped. Also, if the Lakers are playing at the nearby Staples Center, that adds to the excitement, as does performances at the Nokia Theatre.afterwards, you can go watch a movie.
