Leonard Cohen, A Celebration

Pause for a moment of peaceful reflection as the Getty hosts a Leonard Cohen listening party. There won't be any speeches, memorial services, performances or anything like that—just a tranquil, informal setting to listen to songs from the late singer-songwriter's celebrated career. The evening's playlist is being curated by producer Hal Willner, who was behind a series of "Came So Far for Beauty" Cohen tribute shows in the mid-aughts. Willner was also responsible for a similar gathering at the Music Center as well as New York's Lincoln Center, where he also hosted a Lou Reed memorial in 2013.
