Lion Dance for the Mid-Autumn Festival

Forget the usual museum stroll—let’s dance! LACMA is celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with a traditional lion dance accompanied by live music from the Immortals Lion Dance crew. The free performance takes place Sunday, September 20, at the David Geffen Galleries’ Plaza Level, as part of the museum’s free Third Weekends program and in celebration of its exhibition “Fashioning Chinese Women.” No ticket required: Just show up and prepare to make your museum visit a considerably livelier one.
