BET Experience

In the run-up to the BET Awards, the L.A. Convention Center will host a free two-day fan fest that features vendor villages and performances by Flo Milli, Doechii and more. You can also purchases passes for a few ticketed events, including a Cardi B-headlined concert at the Arena and a stand-up set from Tiffany Haddish at Inglewood’s Miracle Theater.

Anime Expo

The annual Anime Expo takes over the Los Angeles Convention Center for four days of panels, special events and plenty of cosplay. Thousands of fans come to celebrate the quirky art and culture of anime as figureheads and stars of the industry visit to speak and sign autographs. Plus, a massive wing of the convention is set aside specifically for gaming—both electronic and card-based.

Celebrate gender swapping culture and couture at this colossal convention from drag juggernaut RuPaul. Meet queens, pop culture personalities and previous RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants—plus an appearance by RuPaul.
