Time Out says

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is headed back to Dodger Stadium for the first time in over four decades—but this time around there’ll be plenty of activity outside of Chavez Ravine, too.

Things kick off over the weekend with a baseball-themed carnival and yoga on the beach at the Santa Monica Pier, part of the MLB All-Star Oceanfront (July 15–17 11am–7pm). Then, starting Saturday, you’ll find the Capital One PLAY BALL PARK (July 16, 17 10am–8pm; July 18, 19 10am–6pm; $35), which brings autographs, trophies and baseball diamonds to the L.A. Convention Center.

As for some actual baseball, games kick off on Saturday at Dodger Stadium with the All-Star Futures Game (July 16 at 4pm) and the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game (July 16 at 7:15pm), followed by the All-Star Workout Day (July 18 at 11am) and Home Run Derby (July 18 at 5pm) on Monday. Finally, the MLB All-Star Game itself goes down on Tuesday (July 19 at 4:30pm).
