Time Out says

Add some color to your Easter celebrations with natural egg dyeing at Makers Mess (602 N Hoover St). Liz Spencer—the dogwood dyer—will teach you an environmentally friendly way to color both Easter eggs and cloth. Learn techniques like mordanting, extraction and patterning, all with the use of local plants. Participants will leave with 2 dyed silk scarves, colored eggs and a guide on how to repeat the process at home.
