Celebrate the Year of the Horse with this free family day at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (a few blocks away from the Japanese American National Museum, which is still undergoing renovations), complete with cultural activities and performances. Kids can get creative with horse-inspired crafts and origami, while all ages can enjoy rice-pounding rituals, calligraphy performances, candy sculpture demonstrations, live music and comedy from improv troupe Cold Tofu.
