As the largest and most prestigious Black film festival, as well as the largest Black History Month event in the country, the Pan African Film Festival screens more than 150 films made by and/or about people of African descent from the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, South America, the South Pacific, Latin America, Europe and Canada. This year, the annual film fest is celebrating its 27th anniversary, assembling panels, premieres and awards to showcase the broad spectrum of works by black creators. Updates on screenings, events and special programming will be made to the festival's site as the program comes together, so check for updates and ticket info.

Last year I attended the special viewing times that you so generously extended for the Senior Citizens. Will you be extending this kindness to us again? I have looked at the various locations that you have named on KPFK but thus far they don:t seem to have the booklet with the schedule of film times. I do look forward to this each year and hope that you are able to continue this consideration. Thank you. Have a blessed remainder of this day.
