Enjoy the afternoon sun on Angelini Osteria's beautiful outdoor patio at one of the final events of the citywide RE:Her festival. On Sunday, March 13th, the Beverly Grove trattoria will hold a ticketed Italian-style aperitivo in celebration of women in wine and food. Admission ($65) includes light canapés from the restaurant's kitchen and a flight of three glasses of wine. All three selections will be produced by women winemakers, who make up just 14 percent of all California vintners, per a Santa Clara University study.
Curation and on-site tasting notes will be provided by Kate Green of Luckysomm, a Napa Valley-based wine store and online shop founded by a former sommelier at The French Laundry. As with RE:Her's other events, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the local-turned-national nonprofit, which promotes the success and well-being of female restauranteurs.
