Scribble might just be the coolest venue you’ve never heard of. The Highland Park spot is a nonprofit community/counseling center that also hosts classes, workshops, comedy and intimate concerts from under-the-radar bands. And it’s celebrating its 2nd birthday this weekend with a very affordable fundraiser (tickets are $17 including fees). Comedian and author Jamie Loftus will introduce sets by DJ Douggpound (editor for Tim and Eric), rapper Open Mike Eagle and comedian Whitmer Thomas, who’ll bring new and original jokes and jams with him.
