Summer Nights at the Tar Pits

Spend your Friday with mammoths and mastodons at this free, after-hours event at the La Brea Tar Pits & Museum you’re sure to dig. Grab a drink from the Tar Bar and groove to DJ sets from Ladies of Sound and Beat Junkies Institute of Sound, pick up dinner from the food trucks and settle in for a picnic, or check out scientist talks and the museum’s indoor exhibitions and Fossil Lab. Kids can get in on the action with hands-on science activities and an ice age video game experience (July 18 only). Admission is free with RSVP.
