Celebrate Black history during this free festival in Long Beach. The daylong event is filled with family-friendly activities, local vendors, food and drink from Black-owned restaurants, live music and dancing. Also on Saturday, you’ll find the World Famous Block Party at Promenade Square Park (215 E 1st St), presented by the local store VIP Records, with tons of musical acts across two stages (noon–8pm), plus an educational program at the Aquarium of the Pacific on Friday (1–2pm).
