The Scottsboro Boys

Check out this production of 12-Tony-Award-nominated the Scottsboro Boys for a very unconventional musical theater experience. Far from the light-hearted fare we’ve come to expect from musicals, it uses a minstrel show staging to tell the tragic true story of nine innocent African American men in 1930s Alabama who were wrongly accused of a crime and prosecuted.
