The Venice Fest

Soak up the summer vibes and shop local at this free, pet-friendly celebration of small businesses (which is located not in Venice Beach but along Venice Boulevard in Mar Vista). The festival brings together hundreds of local brands and artists three times a year, attracting thousands of shoppers. There will be multiple stages for live music, as well as DJs, fitness and lots of food, plus a family and kids zone. Meanwhile, a ticketed beer garden features an open bar, games, lounges and cabanas (part of the proceeds go to nonprofit Nourish LA). This time around, since the fest is coinciding with the World Cup, Fatty Mart is hosting Gatorade-sponsored experience Goals & Grooves, with live match broadcasts, drink specials, DJs and interactive games (June 19–21).
