Train Festival

You’ll have a rail-y good time at this free festival devoted to all things trains. Union Station, Metro, Amtrak and Metrolink are teaming up for the event, which celebrates “L.A.’s Spirit in Motion.” Step aboard both vintage and modern train cars, get up close to historic rail equipment, ogle expansive model train displays, enjoy live music and family-friendly activities, and take a guided art or history tour of Union Station. And the timing of the fest is perfect—Metro is offering free rides all weekend in celebration of its new expansion into Pomona, so you can ride right up to the station.
