TRANSA—A Celebration

Musical nonprofit Red Hot is teaming up with the Getty Center for a free celebration of trans artistry. On Saturday night, an ensemble of some of the music industry’s most imaginative trans and nonbinary artists will take over the museum campus, merging performance with video and art. Head to the Central Garden for sound installations before a two-hour concert in the main courtyard. Hosted by David Longstreth of the Dirty Projectors, the event will feature performers including Devendra Banhart, Teddy Geiger, Ahya Simone, Cole Pulice, Heart Shaped and more—all of which were featured on Red Hot’s landmark TRANSA concept album. Tickets are free; you’ll just need a timed reservation to enter the Getty.
