Trick-or-Treat in the Garden

We challenge you to come up with a more beautiful trick-or-treating destination than the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. At this annual family-friendly Halloween event, costumed kids and their families can stroll the gardens, collecting nature-based treats while learning fun facts about plants along the way. Expect some spooky natural history, too: Discovery tables along the route will offer encounters with hissing cockroaches, earthworms, bones and skulls, flesh-eating beetles, carnivorous plants and more. You can choose the half-hour entry slot that works best for you between 4 and 7pm, and all guests are required to bring a flashlight.
