Though part of an obscure sect of Christianity, this glass church serves nature first and foremost. While some brides-to-be flock here simply for the oceanfront views, plenty appreciate the serene space for its impeccable construction; its faceted shell hugs the trees and drinks in sunlight to create an enchanting and intimate environment.

This is a gorgeous piece of architecture tucked into a wooded hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Regardless of your religion, it's an incredible place to visit for its natural beauty—you'll appreciate the soaring glass ceilings and indoor/outdoor architecture, as well as the peacefulness of the grounds. be aware, the place is packed with back-to-back weddings on weekends, and though they open the church to visitors in hour increments between each ceremony, it feels a little strange to be the looky-loo waiting for folks to say "I do" so you can get that perfect picture. Maybe worth calling ahead to find out the best (and least crowded) time to visit.

Wayfarers Chapel is an architectural gem on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Completely encased in glass, this chapel is a bride's dream. It's been the setting of numerous TV shows, and it's easy to see why. With the Pacific Ocean crashing into the cliffs nearby, you feel like you're in a different world here. Definitely a beautiful spot.
