“We Believe in Blue” L.A. Dodgers World Series Pep Rally

Once again, the Boys in Blue have made it to the World Series. Those on the Westside might be far from Dodger Stadium, but they can show their hometown pride at Third Street Promenade’s first-ever pep rally, which will fill the 1300 block of the pedestrian-only stretch with tons of Dodger pride. On Thursday—the day before the series kicks off on Friday—don your Dodger blue and mingle with other fans, sign an 8-foot-tall baseball, take your photo in a 360-degree fan photo booth, cheer on the team led by a special guest emcee, and sip beer outside in the designated Entertainment Zone. The Promenade and Pacific wheel on the Santa Monica Pier will even show some team spirit: A coordinated lighting display will turn the skyline blue for the occasion. The rally kicks off a weeklong celebration throughout Downtown Santa Monica—expect special promotions, giveaways and light-up tributes each night of the series.
