Time Out says

Just for one day the Petersen Automotive Museum keeps its doors open for free to active duty police, fireman and (as always) military members. And to celebrate the museum's debut of five new vehicles inspired by the Justice League, anyone who comes in costume as their favorite hero will be granted free admission. As much as we're all for self-confidence, you might want to get a bit more creative than coming as "yourself"—though bringing a donation for the on-site LAFD and LAPD toy drives makes you a hero in our book.
