Yeah, yeah, "bus tour" automatically sounds like the dorkiest thing ever, but this tour is about a (nay, THE) Dirty Old Man, and great lover of Los Angeles, Charles Bukowski. Esotouric will take you to the Postal Annex Terminal where Bukowski gathered the material for “Post Office,” the De Longpre apartment where he briefly experimented with marriage and fatherhood, and one of his favorite bars and liquor stores—The Pink Elephant. The tour spans from Skid Row to once-genteel Crown Hill to East Hollywood, and begins downtown at The Daily Dose, a perfect spot to grab breakfast before hopping back on that awesome bus.
