The prestigious Pinnacle Guide is setting out to find the planet’s best bars – and just awarded their first-ever three PIN bar

We reported last year that the Pinnacle Guide was launching, the new kid on the block in the world of bar rankings, and back in the spring after months of anonymous interviews, the platform released its first round-up of awards (or PINs).
Now, the second round of PINs have been handed out, and excitingly, the fresh list includes the first-ever three-pinned bar.
That’s right, the milestone was achieved by dazzling London bar Lyaness, which is located inside the Sea Containers Hotel on the Southbank and uses swanky mixology techniques such as parallel fermentation and cryogenics. Sounds a bit sciency, eh? You can read more about Lyaness here.
But that’s far from the only bar to be graced with multiple pins. 19 new bars were awarded either one or two of the accolades, and they are shaking, mixing and pouring cocktails across 14 different cities.
Among the two-pinned bars are three from the US (Allegory and Silver Lyan in Washington DC and Century Grand in Phoenix); two from the UK (Silverleaf in London and The Cocktail Bar at The Merchant Hotel in Belfast); and FURA in Singapore.
