Storage containers on the High Line at the Rail Yards will be transformed during this installation from artist Charles Mary Kubricht. Inspired by “dazzling,” the camouflage technique used by military ships in World War I, Kubricht painted black-and-white patterns on the containers in order to distort their appearances while inspiring viewers to move around the objects in different ways.
