Amy Yao, "Skeletons on a Bender"

Yao celebrates summer and social climbing with a series of customized hardware ladders, each treated with the kind of fiberglass-and-varnish finish found on surfboards. And like surfboards, the pieces are printed with graphics and images, related, apparently, to the various elements of the art world with whom the artist consorts.
