Anthony McCall, "Face to Face"

This veteran British-born artist who lives and works in New York presents new and old works, including his signature film installations, featuring projections of 16mm movies that depict little more than solid white light. Also on view is a multiscreen film installation from 1972, showing of a group of people snapping pictures of one another in a studio piled ankle-deep in discarded photos. Viewers move through a similar debris field strewn in the gallery.
