For his sixth show with the gallery, the artist turns to painting for the first time, using found objects and materials—cloth bags, banners, thrift-store paintings, tablecloths, felt—that he layers loosely to "challenge the traditional two-dimensionality of painting by deconstructing the surface of the picture plane."
