Babette Mangolte

This exhibition by the New York filmmaker consists of two parts: a two-channel installation in which the physical installation of the piece constitutes part of the film's content, heightening the viewer's awareness of their own personal space in contrast with that of the gallery's; and a series of photographs, slides and projections on choreographers and dancers, taken by Mangolte during the 1970s. The totality is a graceful meditation on space and movement.
