Time Out says
Patterson, who was born in 1934, is a musician, composer and artist, and one of the founding members of FLUXUS, a loose international collective of avant-gardists that first gained notoriety in the 1960s. Noted for his performances involving paper shredding, bell ringing and unconventional playing of the double bass, Patterson has a loopy geniality that fits right in with the FLUXUS aesthetic. This show centers on his musical scores, but also includes video documentation of his performances and other ephemera.
