Catherine Lee, "Quanta"

Lee's grid paintings have a unique depth and dimensionality, resulting from her rigorous paint-layering process. The show's highlight, though, is a ceramic wall sculpture, consisting of 105 abstract units, each resembling a human heart or a shield.
