Known for his painterly almost-figurations that are the rough visual equivalent of preverbal poetry, the young painter selects a small roster of individuals, who represent senior artists as well as contemporaries. No organizing principle is ostensibly given; however, considering Hesidence's choices, it's safe to assume the malleability of certain visual languages will be a main theme.
