Time Out says

Flash back to the Bay Area's countercultural scene of the 1960s with this exhibition, revisiting the Diggers. Active in Haight-Ashbury between 1966 and 1968, the group was originally made up of improv actors and street mimes. Besides staging absurdist political theater, the Diggers also provided such outreach services as free food, a free store and a free medical clinic. The flyers, posters and photos here recapture their attempts at creating a new social order.
