Time Out says

This year, DBAF will have both virtual and in-person performances, classes, screenings, and exhibitions across the district, and a host of exciting free outdoor events at The Plaza at 300 Ashland (at Flatbush and Lafayette Avenues). Make sure to be there for the salsa dance party on Wednesday with the Maria Raquel Quintet and DJ John John Acevedo, a performance artist showcase on Thursday night, Arturo O’Farrill and the 18-piece Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra on Friday, BAMkids Family Day on Saturday and Soul Summit spinning old-school house music on The Plaza on Sunday. And don't miss a "Dance with MMDG" class for the public to learn Mark Morris choreography at Brooklyn Bridge Park or the NYC Ska Orchestra take over across the neighborhood. BAM will convert the Fisher Center into a beach with Sun & Sea and more.
