Downtown Fair

This show marks the inaugural presentation of the newest addition to New York's busy art fair scene. The emphasis here is on both modern and contemporary art, with a premium on works that have never been previously exhibited. The fair is being mounted at 69th Regiment Armory, a storied location in the annals of art history: It's where the 1913 Armory Show scandalized New York audiences with Marcel Duchamp's painting, Nude Descending a Staircase.
