Erika Vogt, Stranger Debris Roll Roll Roll

Giving, taking and the rituals we associate with both are the subjects of this video-cum-sculpture installation by Vogt, an L.A. artist whose works are characterized by a dense layering of imagery and effects. In the New Mu's Lobby Gallery, a group of TV monitors are placed within a web of pulleys suspending a series of cast-plaster objects.
