Esther Kläs, "Nobody Home"

Echoes of the work of Brancusi, Georg Herold and Franz West definitely reverberate throughout Kläs's sculpture, but she makes the blending of minimalist abstraction with funky figuration her own in her gallery debut. On offer: pieces combining traditional art materials such as clay, plaster and ceramics with industrial-strength concrete and resin in free associations on the notion of presence.
