Eugen Schönebeck: 1957-1967

As one of the first German artists to integrate the traumatic experiences of the Second World War into his art, Schönebeck created a unique body of work that greatly influenced the German artists who followed him. This solo exhibit of paintings and works on paper—his first outside of Germany—presents an overview of his all too-brief career.
