Fred Tomaselli

This midcareer survey highlights the work of an artist who has always been on his own trip, so to speak. Tomaselli is perhaps best known for his pioneering use of resin paintings embedded with myriad objects, most notably prescription pills and hallucinogenic plants, but his assemblage style has extended to other items as well.
