For more than three decades now, Hill has been a superstar video artist, creating multilayered installations that explore nothing less than how we perceive the world through visual, aural and linguistic cues. He uses the latest video technologies to pry us away from our cultural dependence on media, and to disabuse us of our assumptions about what it means to communicate.
