Gary Hume, "Anxiety and the Horse"

This exhibition features seven new paintings that were influenced by the killing of Osama bin Laden. Though none of the political figures that inspired Hume are discernible in his abstract work, each painting is embedded with a distinct feeling of anxiety and drama that characterized the historic moment.
