Time Out says

This show of works on paper comprises recent acquisitions to MoMA's collection. Dating from the 1950s to the present, the pieces take a decidedly conceptualist tack and deal, for the most part, with existential issues. The exhibit's title comes from a work by one of the featured artists, On Kawara, who in 1970 sent a series of telegrams to his dealer in Holland stating simply, "I am alive."
