Ida Ekblad

Like a lot of young artists today, this early-thirties Norwegian mines the canon of mid-20th-century art to create her stylish menagerie of sculptures and canvases. This show concentrates on the latter with a group of Abstract Expressionistic paintings that take the work of Europe's postwar COBRA movement as their point of departure.
