Claude Monet is getting the Vincent van Gogh treatment. For one night only this Friday, December 17 at 8pm, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will turn into an event dedicated to Monet.
Taking over the space at Skylight on Vesey in the Financial District, the immersive experience will deliver the sort of dreamy sound effects and extra-large digital displays of art that its original counterpart is known for.
You'll get to walk through a 360-degree version of Monet's Water Lilies, in addition to some of his other pieces. Given his status as one of the founders of the Impressionism movement, we expect this specific treatment to really resonate with all of his works.
