Family vacations, weddings and other intimate portrayals of life in Peru during the 1970s and ’80s provide the raw material for this installation, which features found slides (altered according to the title) projected onto a pair of screens. The artist's elisions comment not only on the nature of memory, but also on a politically troubled period in his country's recent history.
