Yet another artist who transforms lowly materials into sculpture, Jessi Reaves employs furniture and household items to create freestanding objects and wall reliefs with an aggressively weird vibe, as if they were mutating before your eyes. And while the pieces sometimes suggest figural forms, the results seem more arthropodic than anthropomorphic.
