Born in Venezuela, Soto (1923–2005) was one of Latin America's most prominent modern artists, a major figure in the Group Zero movement and a collaborator with such artists as Lucio Fontana, Yves Klein and Jean Tinguely. This look back at his work, which includes Op Art reliefs and kinetic sculpture, is his first comprehensive survey in New York since a 1974 solo show at the Guggenheim.
