Jimmy Raskin, "Petals, Ears & Tears"

At times it's hard to know what to make of Raskin's collages, assemblages and installations, in which textual borrowings from writers such as Rimbaud and Nietzsche collide with an obscure iconography linked, apparently, to the artist's experiences. Exuberant and anarchic, Raskin's work celebrates irrationality as a life force.
