Joe Brainard, "Painting the way I wish I could talk"

On offer are small works on paper mixing collage, watercolor and gouache that date to the mid-1970s. The pieces appear to allude to such small pleasures in life as smoking and eating, and definitely relate to the artist's forays into writing.
